I'm super excited to be on the air with my very own HF rig!
My ATAS-120 is a fine antenna, but it's a very poor performer without being properly setup for base station use, so it's been set aside for the time being while I work on other stuff.
A huge thanks to Bill, KM4JBG, for building a 6 and 10 meter dual band antenna for me. That dipole is now hanging in a tree about 40' off the ground behind my RV, and i'm thoroughly enjoying 0 SWR on 6 and 10 meters. It looks like I may be getting that same low SWR on other bands as well, so i'll keep playing with it and we'll see what happens. :)
