It finally happened! I finally ran out of welding wire on my first 1 lb spool.
I know, I know, big whoop, right? Well, for me it is since it’s my first spool, and because of how much (little?) I got done with it!
I’ve welded up dozens of different things with that spool, introduced three other folks to welding on that spool, and of course learned how to weld on that spool myself.
Changeout was super simple and I made sure to check the tension of the rollers using my finger before closing up and getting back to welding.
Like my first weld, I’ll keep this first spool as a reminder of where I started!
