Dating 2.0

Alright, it’s more like dating 9.0, but whatever.

So here’s the deal: I’m in Denver now, (menver if you listen to the locals), and getting back to living life on my terms after a very tumultuous winter 2021.

Most of my friends have told me I should get back into dating now that I’m in one place for a long time, and that makes sense to me, but I have no desire to deal with the nonsense that comes with it.

So, here’s my plan: Live my life, build my businesses, explore my hobbies, and have a good time. I’m not actively seeking out dating, but I’m open to it if the right woman comes along.

I’ll add a couple more posts about my preferences and such, but here’s the starters:

Dealbreakers:
Tobacco users, Drug abusers, poor drivers.
Women with poor hygiene, attitude, conflict management skills, mindset, health, fitness, or communication.
Women who can’t, or won’t, “meet me halfway’.
Women who want to chat, text, or message for weeks or months on end without meeting.
Women who think meeting = sex. It doesn’t.

My process:
1) Are we mutually initially attracted each other?
> If yes, move to item 2.
2) Are we clear of each others deal breakers?
> If yes, move to item 3.
3) Would you like to meet in person and see if we have chemistry?
> If yes, move to step 2.
Step 2: Meet @ Ihop on Colfax and Potomac Sunday morning at 1000 for coffee. If things go well, stay for brunch.
You get yourself there, I get myself there. We meet, we talk, maybe we flirt, maybe we make plans and exchange numbers.
This is NOT a date, this a MEETING.
We go our separate ways, in our own vehicles.
No, you don’t get to come to my house and meet my dogs, yet. Yes, I know they’re adorable, thank you.

I’ll have another post about what happens next.
